Hydro Rolled Products certified against ASI Performance Standard
Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products has become certified against ASI’s Performance Standard for environmental, social and governance performance.
The certification comprises Hydro’s primary aluminium plant in Germany as well as its rolling mills in Germany and Norway. Hydro is one of the worlds’ leading manufacturers of technically advanced rolled aluminium products and solutions, with a strong production base in Europe and a global reach. Rolled products include foil, strip, sheet and plate which are used in the automotive, transport, building and shipbuilding industry as well as engineering, electrical, domestic, printing and packaging industries.
The ASI Certification programme was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The independent, third-party audit of Rolled Products in Hydro was carried out by DNV GL.
