Tenova supplies roll grinding machine to JW Aluminum
Tenova SpA has been contracted by JW Aluminum to supply a roll grinding machine for work rolls and back-up rolls for JW’s expansion project at its Goose Creek plant in South Carolina, USA.
JW Aluminum chose Pomini – the Tenova brand leader in the production of roll grinders – for this order which also comprises a chock changer for work and back-up rolls, and a chock tilter. The equipment will be installed by the end of 2019.
JW Aluminum manufactures specialty flat-rolled aluminium products for the building and construction markets, fin stock used by the heating and cooling industry, light gauge converter foil for the flexible packaging industry and honeycomb foil for the aerospace industry.
