Speira joins Alumobility initiative

Speira with headquarters in Grevenbroich, Germany, will be one of three full members, joining founding members Constellium and Novelis.

For a lighter, more sustainable future mobility

“We are enthusiastic about joining Alumobility, to drive the use of aluminium in vehicles, for a lighter, more sustainable future mobility,” commented Speira CEO Einar Glomnes. “We see this engagement as an important step for our ambitions toward low-carbon mobility.”

As the other full members, Speira will dedicate resources to support the work and projects of Alumobility. Pascal Wagner, head of the business unit Automotive in Speira, is serving as a board member of Alumobility.

The addition of new associate member Fischer Group is broadening Alumobility’s expertise with a leader in aluminium hot forming innovation, which provides new possibilities in the design of lightweight, yet strong automotive components.
