Jiangsu Dingsheng receives ASI chain of custody standard for three facilities

The ASI certification program was developed through an extensive multi-stakeholder consultation process and is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The ASI coc Standard sets out requirements for the creation of a chain of custody for material that is produced and processed through the value chain into diverse downstream sectors. The implementation of ASI’s coc Standard links verified practices at successive steps of the supply chain – certified under the ASI performance standard – to the products produced by ASI certified entities. The independent, third-party audits of the Jiangsu Dingsheng New Materials Joint-Stock facility was carried out by SGS-CSTC standards technical services.

Fiona Solomon (Photo), Chief Executive Officer at ASI said: “We warmly congratulate Jiangsu Dingsheng New Materials Joint-Stock Co., Ltd. on achieving ASI chain of custody certification. The volume of production and the diverse industries in which the company’s aluminium foils are used presents a significant potential flow through to sectors such as packaging, printing, home appliances, medical, and lithium batteries. When coupled with appropriate upstream sourcing, the achievement of this certification gives the company’s customers the possibility to support responsible aluminium production and sourcing.”
