HAI Group takes over Romanian extrusion plant

Following the signing in September 2019, the takeover of Hydro Aluminium’s extrusion plant in Chisineu-Cris, Romania, by Hammer Aluminium Industries was successfully closed at the beginning of February. With this step HAI is expanding its capacity and further developing all three company divisions – construction, industry and transport. The new HAI site has two extrusion presses with a production capacity of 22.000 tpy. This increase in capacity enables HAI – even with an already high utilization in 2020 – to support its customers on their growth journey in 2021.
