Ebner supplies furnace equipment for US rolling mill
Ebner Ofenbau from Leonding, Austria, is supplying the furnace equipment for a state-of-the-art recycled aluminum flat rolled mill in the US.
Aluminum Dynamics, LLC, the newly formed aluminum division of Steel Dynamics has contracted Ebner for the supply of the furnace equipment for the recently announced, state-of-the art USD 1.9bn recycled aluminum flat rolled mill in Columbus, Mississippi.
Ebner supplies several components of the furnace system
This package includes pusher-type furnaces to support hot rolling operations for preheating and homogenizing of approx. 900,000 tonnes of rolling slabs annually, requisite batch-type coil annealing furnaces as well as floatation-type, continuous annealing and solution heat treat lines for the finishing operations. The equipment is designed to produce automotive, can and common alloy aluminum sheet of the highest quality.
