The new orders comprise a slitting line and a high-speed trimming line. Both lines will process aluminium strip of different series (1xxx, 3xxx, 5xxx and 8xxx) at a maximum width of 2,150 mm and at a thickness of 0.1 to 1.0 mm. Coil weight is up to 31 tonnes. Both lines will be complete with the necessary auxiliary units, automation and electrics. Erection and commissioning will be supervised by Fröhling staff to ensure a fast learning curve and optimum fine-tuning of the plant. Supply is scheduled for early 2014.
